Question: My father asked me if the incarnation of Lord Krishna and the subsequent activities are arranged according to a script like in a drama. That is to say, in EVERY incarnation of Lord Krishna, he kills Kamsa, there is a Bhagavad Gita narration to a personality Arjuna etc. It didn’t seem right to me, but then I read in the Srimad Bhagavatam in the part about fight between Banasura and Lord Krishna (surrounding the marriage of Usha to Anirudha). In that section, there was a mention that Samba, the son of Jambavati, was Karthikeya, the son of Lord Siva, in a previous life. Which tells me that in that previous life, Lord Siva had a son named Karthikeya. And in the battle happening where Samba was fighting, there was Karthikeya (the son of Lord Siva) as well! So it seems like, the names of the personalities are repeating. Are the pastimes repeating as well like in a drama script? Second part to this question is – are these pastimes the same in every universe Lord Krishna advents Himself?
