Question: Mother Yaśodā was thinking about Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes while churning the milk. Being covered by yoga-māyā, Mother Yaśodā did not see her Son Kṛṣṇa as God. How could she remember Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes?
Answer by Romapada Swami:
Because she is profoundly attached to Kṛṣṇa, she was always absorbed in thinking of him. We remember what we are attached to. She has such love for Kṛṣṇa that she cannot think of anything other than Kṛṣṇa. That is how.
You can be covered by yoga-māyā and simultaneously remember Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes. Why is that a problem?
When we are in mahā-māyā, we remember our mahā-māyā pastimes. When we are in yogamāyā, we remember Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes.
