Digest 00748: Do the 8 daughters Mother Saci devi lost before the appearance of Caitanya Mahaprabhu represent anything?

Question: I was reading topics about Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and came across that Mother Saci lost 8 daughters before Mahaprabhu. May I know if there is any information about who are these 8 daughters, and do they represent anything? Like I listened a lecture where it was mentioned that 6 sons that Mother Devaki lost are the sons of Marici (Lord Brahma’s son). They also represent 6 anarthas that a conditioned living entity has in this material world. So, I am trying to see if there is any explanation about the 8 daughters of Mother Saci. I would appreciate it if you could enlighten on this.

Answer by Romapada Swami:

There is no reference regarding the background of the lost daughters of Mother Saci in the scriptures.

However, one could apply the same general principle — namely, how the 6 sons born to Vasudeva and Devaki before the birth of Krsna represent the anarthas of the heart which are removed, so  that the heart becomes a clean place for the Lord to occupy — likewise, we can understand that the 8 daughters of Mother Saci appeared to prepare her heart for the Lord to appear.
