Question: Why devotees don’t pick tulasi leaves on dvadasi? Is there any reason mentioned in scriptures or any mention by our acaryas?

Hari Bhakti Vilasa explicitly enjoins that one must not pick Tulasi leaves on Dvadasi, but the reason behind this prohibition is not found anywhere, at least by any learned scholars I contacted.
